Joanne Daly Dezego

Joanne, a Brooklyn native and former director of legal recruiting at a major Wall Street law firm where she spent 20 plus years, has lived in the Borough with husband Jim, for the past 18 years. Although a relative new-comer to the East Rutherford political scene, last year she was field director for local Democrats vying for council seats. Although the Democrats lost the election, her performance won kudos from veterans within the local Democratic Party. Despite the longevity of the current mayor, Joanne would like to breathe new life into the town’s political scene. “It’s time for a change and I’d like to spearhead that change”
